Beat The Zombies

Beat The Zombies is a vertical action RPG set in a world where the plants turned. Plant zombies have taken over, and the only way through is straight ahead — stage by stage, clearing out everything that stands between you and the far end of the map. It is a shoot-em-up at heart, but with adventure and RPG bones underneath that give the run a shape beyond just pulling the trigger.

The world is the draw. Instead of the usual shambling corpses, the enemies here are twisted plant-zombie hybrids, and exploring their overgrown territory is half the appeal. Every stage is a new stretch of dangerous ground with its own mix of foes, and pushing deeper means meeting nastier variants that will not fall to the same approach that worked an hour ago.

Where the strategy comes in is how you handle each fight.
