Description

Texas Holdem Poker is the standard game in a clean browser table. Two hole cards each, five community cards across the flop, turn and river, and a betting round between every street.

The cards are only half of it. Every bet you make tells the table something, and the useful skill is choosing what to say — pushing hard with a strong hand takes the pot immediately and teaches opponents to fold to you later, which is exactly what makes the next bluff work.

The AI is not a pushover. Opponents bet differently depending on what they hold, and there are patterns worth learning in how they play position and how they react to a raise. Picking up on that is most of the improvement available here.

Difficulty changes them meaningfully rather than cosmetically. Easier tables let a bad bluff go unpunished, which is useful while you are learning; harder ones call it, re-raise you, and make you fold hands you would rather have played.
