Description

A ball is looking for the key that opens the cage holding his girlfriend, and each level is one room of that search. Movement is left, right and jump, with enemies and obstacles arranged so that the direct path to the key is rarely the one you survive.

Hearts scattered through the levels raise your health rather than merely topping it up, so a player who explores ends up sturdier than one who runs straight for the exit. That tells by the final level, where a boss is waiting and arriving with a thin health bar makes for a short visit.

Every level also hides a single emerald behind a secret passage. Finding it is optional and usually means going the wrong way on purpose, past the point where the level would have let you leave. Nothing marks these passages, so the only method is looking at walls that seem a little too plain.

Three difficulty settings decide how much punishment the obstacles hand out, and the lowest is a reasonable way to learn the layouts before trying again higher up. Controls are W, A and D or the arrow keys, and on a phone those three become buttons on the screen.
