Description

My Cake Shop puts you behind the counter and on the floor at the same time. Machines produce donuts, customers queue up, and you are the one carrying trays between the two. Nothing moves unless you move it.

That makes the shop a routing problem. A machine that finishes while you are at the till is stock sitting idle, and a counter that empties while you are mopping is a customer walking out. The good players are not faster on their feet; they are simply somewhere useful when each thing finishes.

Upgrades relieve whichever part of the loop is hurting most. A faster machine is worthless if you cannot carry the output, and more counter space only helps if you were actually running out of it. Reading which step is the bottleneck before spending is what stops the money going nowhere.

New locations open as you build up, and each one starts the loop again with more of it to manage at once. The progression is generous rather than punishing, so this sits comfortably as a game you return to for a few minutes at a time.
