Description

Fishing Bear is a small arcade game about timing taps. You play a bear with a line in the water, and tapping reels it in. Fish attach as the line rises, and getting them to the surface is the whole objective.

Other sea creatures make that harder. They move through the water on their own paths, and one bumping your line knocks off whatever you had caught. So reeling as fast as possible is not the right approach — you pause, let something pass, then pull again.

Treasure shells appear occasionally and are worth going out of your way for, though reaching one usually means holding the line somewhere exposed for longer than is comfortable.

Sessions are short and there is nothing punishing about failing a catch. It is built to be pleasant rather than tense, and works fine in the gaps between other things.
