Description

Epic Hero Quest belongs to the family of RPGs that keep running while you are away. Your hero fights the oncoming ranks automatically, and your job is not swinging the sword but deciding where the gold from those fights ends up.

That decision lives in the skill list. Every skill you unlock costs something, and pushing one skill to a high tier pays off differently from spreading small upgrades across many of them.

Enemies arrive in waves with steadily rising toughness, so there comes a point where your hero simply stops getting through. That wall is a sign your build needs changing, not that you were playing too slowly.

Because progress is stored, the game suits being left alone and checked on later. A five-minute session spent spending accumulated gold is worth about as much as a long one.
