Description

Fantasy Madness sets you against forces intent on wrecking the natural order, and nature answers through your hands. Your entire arsenal is arcane power rather than forged steel.

The shape of it is survival: enemies arrive in layers until the screen is full, and you keep moving through the gaps. The dodge is the only way out once a ring has already closed, and spending it early means having none left when you are genuinely pinned.

The powers you collect evolve rather than simply growing stronger. Two of them combined produce behaviour that neither had separately, and assembling a combination that fits is the roguelike part.

The world is drawn with humour: the main opposition is orcs from the Clan of Aluminum Helmets, and that tone keeps a fairly punishing game feeling light. Gamepad support is there for anyone who wants it.
