Description

Galactic Missile Defense puts three anti-missile bases between Earth and whatever is coming for it. They are the last thing standing, and the game does not pretend otherwise.

What separates it from most tower defence is that you aim. Shots are fired in the direction you point rather than automatically at whatever is nearest, so a wave is survived by your hand rather than by a good layout.

The three bases cover different parts of the sky, and none of them covers all of it. Deciding which one to spend an upgrade on is really a decision about which approach you are prepared to leave thin.

Weapons and boosters both upgrade, and the pace rises steeply in the later levels. What was a comfortable rhythm early becomes a series of quick choices about which incoming threat you can afford to answer second.
