Description

Tower Wars Arena sits between tower defense and real-time strategy. You have towers to protect and an opponent has theirs, and the ground between you fills with units that both sides keep sending while the match runs.

Because nothing takes turns, holding back to build a perfect defence hands the centre to the other side. Capturing the middle of the arena speeds up your income, which pays for more units, which is what lets you push further. Falling behind there is hard to reverse.

Units counter each other in a plain rock-paper-scissors way, and spells break stalemates rather than win outright. A well-timed spell dropped on a stalled clump is worth more than three extra units thrown in behind it, and knowing when a clump has stalled is what separates matches.

Progress carries between matches: units and spells level up towards legendary, which changes what you can afford to open with. Matches are short, so the loop is quick, and losing one usually teaches something specific about which unit you overbought.
