Description

Relic Guardians builds its whole combat system on rock-paper-scissors. Each turn you pick one of three actions, the enemy picks too, and the pairing decides the exchange rather than how fast your hands are.

Because there are only three options, the skill is reading habits. The same enemy will lean on certain patterns, and recognising one turns a fight that looks like a coin toss into arithmetic.

The story drops you on Earth-1 to recover seven relics before Kaiser Dragon gets there first, with Space Chaos and its Grunts standing along the way. Time travel is the excuse for changing the scenery, and it keeps each chapter distinct.

The art is anime-flavoured pixel work with an old arcade feel, and it plays with a single tap. That combination makes a turn-based game comfortable on a phone, where the genre usually feels heavy.
