Shelter Security puts you on the door of the last shelter in a ruined world and gives you the only job that matters there: deciding who comes inside. Everyone arrives with documents. Most of the documents are fine.

The game is about the ones that are not. A date that does not match, a photograph that is close but not right, a piece of luggage that weighs more than it should. Every level adds one more thing to check, and the previous checks do not go away.

Mutants, bandits and traders all try to talk their way through, and the humour comes from how badly some of them try. That does not make them harmless: waving through a friendly-looking visitor with the wrong paperwork costs exactly as much as missing an obvious one.

Two keys handle almost everything, which keeps the pressure on the looking rather than the pressing. It is a small, funny, unexpectedly tense game about doing a boring job carefully.
