Description

Two tanks start on the same battlefield and only one of them leaves it. There are no waves and no reinforcements: the entire game is you, the other tank and the walls between you. That makes every shot count in a way a game with respawns never does.

Ammunition comes from crates scattered around the map, and running dry is a real way to lose. Firing at every opportunity feels productive and usually is not, because a tank with no shells left has to break contact and go looking for a crate while the other one is still shooting.

Power-ups appear alongside the ammunition and are worth the detour when the fight is even. Reaching one means crossing open ground, so the decision is the same one the game keeps asking: whether the advantage on the far side of the map is worth the shot you will take getting there.

Two players share one device, one on each side of the screen, which is what the game is really built for. It works alone as well, though the pleasure of watching someone opposite you run out of shells at the wrong moment is the part worth setting up.
