Arrow Out

Arrow Out opens on almost nothing: a dark screen, one white arrow and a play button. What follows is a board crammed with neon arrows in every colour, a few straight, most bent into an L, all pointing somewhere.

Tap one and it shoots off the board, but only if the lane ahead happens to be empty. Clear forty-two of them and the level is done. The counter in the side panel is the only progress indicator you get.

Three hearts sit above that counter, and they are what make the order matter. Tapping an arrow blocked in by its neighbours moves nothing and costs one of the three, so the real work is spotting which lane has just opened up.

The panel also has a clock that counts upwards rather than down, a lamp, a tap helper and an eye, plus zoom buttons for when the tangle gets dense. A sound theme called Piano plays in the background.
