Description

Coin Color Sort runs on a single rule — a coin may only be placed on another coin of the same color — and the goal of every level is to end with each color gathered into a stack of its own.

The rule is trivial; the starting arrangement is not. Colors are stacked in alternating layers, so the coin you need is usually buried under two you do not. Digging it out means moving those somewhere temporary, and that is where levels are lost: the free space runs out, and there is nowhere left to unload the next stack.

Working backward helps more than working forward. Deciding which stack you intend to finish first, then clearing what is on top of it, avoids the trap of making four tidy-looking moves that leave the board more locked than it started.

Nothing is timed, and there are thousands of levels, so the game is happy to be picked up for two minutes or an hour. Coins are moved by dragging, with a mouse or a finger.
