Forest Survivor is a roguelike set in a jungle. The map is generated fresh each run, so the route you learned last time does not exist any more, and dying means starting again from nothing.

Three things drain constantly: health, hunger and stamina. Food restores hunger but has to be found, stamina limits how long you can run from something, and health only comes back slowly. Sprinting away from a fight solves the immediate problem and creates the next one, since you arrive somewhere new with nothing left in the tank.

What you find is what you get. Weapons and resources turn up where the generator put them, so a run might hand you something strong early or leave you improvising for a long stretch. Adapting to a bad draw is most of the skill.

Because runs are self-contained, there is no long save to protect. A bad run costs you twenty minutes and teaches you something about the next one.
