Description

Heroic Knight is a puzzle about timing levers. The knight walks by himself and cannot be stopped; all you control are the barriers that change where his next step takes him.

That makes order and timing the entire game. Pull a lever early and he drops into the lava; pull it late and he walks straight into the troll that was waiting. A mistake cannot be corrected halfway — the level restarts, which is why watching a room before touching anything is the faster approach.

Each room is a closed problem with one correct sequence. Reading where the traps sit, working out where he will be after each barrier moves, and holding the whole order in your head before starting is what turns a room from impossible to obvious.

Treasure is scattered through the dungeon and rarely on the safe route, so there is a choice between finishing a room cleanly and finishing it rich. The princess at the end is the reason the knight is down there at all.
