Description

VegaMix Da Vinci Puzzles wraps a match-3 board in a story: three travelers — Alice, Vika and Lesha — land in Renaissance Italy and end up helping Leonardo da Vinci. Each level you clear moves the story on a step.

The matching itself is where the depth sits, because the shape you match in decides what you get. Four in a line produces a rocket that clears a whole row; four in a square gives a spinner that clears the area around it; five in a T shape leaves a bomb; five in a straight line makes the strongest piece on the board.

Since every level caps your moves, those shapes are not a bonus but the plan. Three-tile matches burn turns without making progress, so the useful habit is setting up a shape two moves out rather than taking whatever match is closest.

Each level is set against buildings and machine drawings from the period, which gives the story somewhere to go beyond a rising level counter.
