Brain Challenge is 250 short puzzles built on the same joke: the answer you reach first is usually not the one that works.

Some levels are arithmetic, some are visual, some are pure logic, and a good number exist to catch you overthinking. The reliable approach is to notice when you have started building a complicated solution, and then check whether the question meant something simpler.

Interaction is part of the puzzle rather than a way of submitting an answer. Objects can be dragged off the screen, moved on top of each other or tapped in places that look decorative, and a level that seems unsolvable often just wants something you assumed was fixed to be moved.

Each puzzle takes a minute or two — or considerably longer when one catches you properly — so it works in short sittings. The later levels genuinely need lateral thinking rather than more effort applied to the same reading.

Experiment: Combining two elements is a valid answer more often than it looks
