Description

Tap Bead is a quiet color-sorting puzzle built around one tidy little gesture: tap a bead off the board, hold it, and drop it where it belongs. Each level hands you a finished pattern that is almost right — the colors are scrambled, a few beads sit in the wrong slots, and the layout is asking to be cleaned up. Your job is to lift the mis-placed beads, sort them by color, and place them back so the pattern reads the way it was meant to.

The clever bit is the buffer area. You only have so many slots to work with on the board itself, and most levels need you to move more than one bead at a time to unjam a knot. The buffer is a small holding row off to the side where you can park a bead temporarily while you free up the slot it actually belongs in. Used well, it lets you untangle even the messier patterns. Fill the buffer up by accident, though, and you can lock yourself into a corner with no legal move left — which is when you start replaying the level with a smarter plan.

The puzzles ramp gently. Early levels just want you to swap a couple of beads and feel out the rules. Later patterns layer in tighter color groupings, deeper stacks, and arrangements where every single move has to be the right one in the right order. None of it requires fast hands — there is no timer, no score chase, no fail screen for being slow. It is the kind of puzzle that rewards looking at the board for a few seconds before you touch it.

The whole thing leans into the relaxing side of the genre. Soft, friendly visuals, calm soundtrack, a portrait layout that fits a phone naturally, and touch controls so simple a kid could pick it up. It is great as a wind-down game before bed, a focus exercise during a break, or just a small daily routine of clearing a few levels at a time. If you like Ball Sort, Water Sort, or any of the tap-and-arrange puzzlers, Tap Bead lives in the same neighborhood with a softer, prettier face.
