Description

Drift 3 gives you a single input: hold to turn one way, release to turn the other. That is the entire control scheme, and the whole race is a sequence of decisions about exactly when to press and when to let go.

Seven other cars share the track, and they are not scenery. Contact pushes cars around, so lining up a rival before a corner and shoving them wide is a legitimate way to finish ahead. It also leaves you badly placed for the corner if you get it wrong.

Dead ends are the trap. The track branches, and a wrong turn taken at speed leaves you facing a wall with no way to correct, so the mini-map in the top left corner is not decoration. Glancing at it costs you a fraction of attention and saves entire runs.

The goal is to be the last one still racing rather than to cross a line first. That changes how you drive: staying out of trouble beats being quick, and the player who spends the early laps avoiding contact often wins the ones that matter.
