Description

Animal Transform Race runs itself forward and leaves you one decision: which animal should be carrying you right now. Each one is fast across some ground and useless across the rest, so the race is a sequence of swaps rather than a test of driving.

Reaction time is the actual scoring mechanism. Changing animal the moment the terrain changes gives you the full benefit of the new one, while noticing a second late means running the first stretch of new ground in the wrong body. Those fractions decide the race far more often than the choices themselves.

Learning which animal suits which surface takes a couple of runs, and after that the game becomes about reading further ahead. The players who do well are not reacting to the ground under them but to the ground they can see coming.

Coins from races unlock more animals in the market, which widens the range of terrain you can answer properly. A second player can join on the same keyboard, and head-to-head is where a late swap becomes very obvious to both of you.
