Description

Good to Drive gives you a choice of vehicle before it gives you a course. Each level is designed for one particular type of transport, so the real puzzle is worked out standing still rather than behind the wheel.

Because the wrong pick cannot be corrected mid-level, the obstacles ahead are a question rather than a challenge. A stretch of loose ground, a narrow bridge or a steep climb each point to a different machine, and reading those signs before committing is the skill the game trains.

Once you are moving, the driving itself stays uncomplicated. That is deliberate: the game does not want your hands to be the reason a level fails, so a correctly chosen vehicle usually finishes with room to spare.

There are a great many levels and the difficulty comes from variety rather than from precision, which keeps it accessible across ages. A player who cannot manage a demanding racer can still work out which truck belongs on which track.
