Description

Blue Hedgehog Hill Dash Ride puts a familiar blue character on a motorbike and points him uphill. Every track is a physics problem, and the bike responds to slope, bump and dip exactly as you would expect.

Leaning is the whole skill. Too far forward on a steep climb and the front wheel digs in; too far back and the bike goes over backward. The balance point moves as the ground changes, which is why the same track feels different on your fifth run than your first.

Throttle works with the lean rather than separately. Full power up a loose slope spins the wheel and costs you the climb; easing off and letting the bike settle gets you over the crest. Smooth beats aggressive on almost every section.

Terrain changes what your instincts should be. Rocky earth is uneven and grabby; lunar hills have lower gravity, so jumps hang far longer and landings need setting up much earlier. Air time is worth chasing, provided you can bring the bike down level.
