Description

Tank Wars is the top-down tank game with two jobs at once: destroy the enemy tanks, and keep them away from your base. Losing the base ends the level regardless of how well the fighting went.

That split is what makes it strategic rather than a shooting gallery. Chasing kills across the map leaves the route to your base open, and sitting on the base all level lets enemies pick their moment. Most levels are won by holding a position that covers both.

Terrain is part of the defense. Walls can be shot through or used as cover, and the ones around your base are worth preserving rather than clearing for a better firing line.

120 levels add enemies, better enemy tanks and tighter layouts steadily, so the same instincts keep working while the margin for error narrows.
