Description

Police Traffic Racer is an endless highway with other cars on it and a police car that is not obeying any of the rules. Three landscapes, six vehicles, and no destination beyond going further than last time.

Traffic is the entire obstacle, and the correct read is not the car in front but the gap two cars ahead. At speed you commit to a lane several seconds before you arrive in it, and almost every crash is a decision made too late rather than a reaction that was too slow.

Nitro refills as you drive, which turns it into a rhythm rather than a resource. Spending it on a clear stretch wastes it; spending it to clear a wall of slow traffic before it closes is what the meter is for.

Upgrades change what the car can do rather than only how fast it goes. More speed with the same handling narrows the window you have to make a lane change, so a balanced car often runs further than a fast one.
