Description

Drive to Survive puts you in a zombie apocalypse with no weapon except the vehicle. Clearing a location means driving through it, and the only technique available is the drift, used to sweep rather than to look good.

Combos are what turn that into a game. Hitting several zombies in a row pays far more than hitting them one at a time, so the correct line is the one that keeps the car moving through a crowd rather than the one that stops in it. Braking is almost always the wrong instinct.

Money from combos buys cars, and cars differ in weight and grip rather than only in speed. A heavy car ploughs and turns badly; a light one turns beautifully and gets stopped by three zombies. Which you want depends on the location.

Locations change the problem rather than the scenery. Open ground rewards long drifts, tight streets punish them, and the same car can feel like two different cars a level apart.
