Description

2048 Snake.io joins two things that had no business being joined. You control a chain that grows as it collects cubes, like a snake, and the cubes carry numbers that combine when equal, like 2048. Both halves are simple; keeping them straight at the same time is not.

A longer chain scores more and is also harder to steer, which is the tension the whole game runs on. Collecting a cube you do not need lengthens you for nothing, and a chain that is long in the wrong shape cannot reach the merge that would shorten it.

Other players are in the arena doing the same thing, and collisions matter. Their chains are obstacles, their high numbers are what you are being measured against, and the safest route to a cube is almost never the shortest one.

Rounds are quick and restarts are instant, which suits a game where one careless turn ends things. It rewards looking a few cubes ahead rather than chasing the one in front of you.
