Fish Eat Getting Big is the food chain and nothing else. Every fish in the ocean carries a number, you can eat anything below yours, and anything above yours can eat you. The whole game runs on comparing two figures at speed.

What keeps it interesting is that the numbers move. A fish that was safe to chase a moment ago has been eating too, and the gap you were relying on can close while you are still swimming towards it. Checking again before you commit is a habit worth building early.

Up to three people play at the same keyboard, and that is where the game earns its place. Human players hunt differently from the ocean around them: they wait, they follow, and they will happily spend a whole minute stalking you rather than feeding, which no fish in the game ever does.

The ocean is large and full of species that behave slightly differently, so the routes that stay safe change as everyone grows. A run that started cautiously in one corner usually ends somewhere completely different, whether or not you meant to travel.
