Description

Moto Traffic Rider drops you onto a live highway on a superbike with no protection and no reason to slow down. Six bikes and three routes make up the whole game, and the difference between them is mostly a difference in how little room you need.

A bike changes the maths of overtaking. You fit through gaps a car would never attempt, which sounds like an advantage until you notice that the gap being wide enough is not the same as it staying wide enough. Cars drift within their lanes, and a bike has nothing to absorb the contact when they do.

Nitro refills as you ride, so it is there to be spent rather than saved. The useful habit is firing it into road you can already see is clear, because on a bike the extra speed arrives faster than your ability to reconsider the lane you picked.

Upgrades go into the bikes rather than into safety, which is the honest trade of the genre. A faster bike scores more per second and gives you less time to read the traffic, and the three game modes each ask you to accept that bargain in a slightly different form.
