Description

Frost Defense is a tower defense game set in the arctic. Enemies follow a fixed path across the ice, and your job is to line that path with towers that finish them off before they get through. The only money you earn comes from kills, so every tower has to pay for itself.

Each tower type does one job well. Some reach far but fire slowly, some barely scratch enemies but slow them to a crawl, and others hit hard only at close range. Stacking one type usually collapses around the middle waves, when enemies start arriving with different resistances.

You can also pour money into towers you already own instead of building new ones, and that trade-off is where most games are won or lost. The same cash buys one strong tower or three ordinary ones. Bends in the path are the best real estate, since enemies slow down there and spend longer inside your firing range.

Waves arrive without much of a pause, so you are building while the fight is already happening. If one wave slips through, you usually get just enough time to patch the gap before the next group starts moving.

Pick a tower to match the problem: long-range, slowing, or close-quarters damage
Click a tower you already own to upgrade it or sell it back
Watch your cash before the next wave starts, since kills are your only income
Build on bends in the path so enemies stay in range longer
