Description

Maze Escape Challenge gives you a labyrinth and one exit, and times how long you take to find it. Walls, dead ends, and a route that is never the one you would guess from the entrance.

The dark levels are what make it worth playing. Visibility shrinks to a small circle around your character, so the maze has to be held in your head instead of read off the screen. Remembering which turns you have already burned matters more than moving quickly.

Stars are awarded on time, up to three. One star means you got out; three means you took very few wrong turns, which on a dark level means you mapped it properly rather than wandering into the answer.

That rating is what gives the mazes a second life. Solving one is straightforward enough; solving it again cleanly, knowing where the dead ends are, is a different and more satisfying problem.

How to Play:

Move: Arrow keys, WASD, or touch and drag on a phone
Find the exit: Work through the maze without doubling back more than you have to
Dark levels: You only see a circle around yourself — remember the turns you have taken
Beat the clock: Faster escapes earn more stars, up to three
Replay: Run a solved maze again for a cleaner time
