Description

Money Factory takes the idle genre at its word and builds a production line whose product is cash. You start with one machine and one conveyor, and everything after that is a question of which part of the line is slowing the rest down.

That question is the game. Upgrading the machine that already keeps up does nothing; upgrading the one everything is queueing behind changes the whole rate. A player who spends evenly grows slowly, and a player who reads the line grows fast.

New sections unlock as you go and each one adds a step, which means the bottleneck moves. A factory that was perfectly balanced ten minutes ago is not balanced now, and going back to look is worth more than tapping harder.

Tapping speeds up collection and triggers bonuses, so there is something to do while you wait. It is a straightforward idle game done tidily, and the satisfaction is watching a number climb because you moved the right lever.
