Coin Blitz takes the shooting out of your hands. Your cannon fires at whatever comes into range without being told, so the game is entirely about where that range is pointing. You drag the shooter into position and the rest happens.

That makes it a positioning problem dressed as an action game. A shooter parked in the middle covers everything badly; one placed at the mouth of the route enemies actually take covers a narrow area very well. Reading the wave before it arrives is the difference between the two.

Coins fall from everything you destroy and pay for the upgrades that keep you alive. Because your damage output rises while the waves also rise, there is a constant question of whether to reposition for safety or hold a good spot and bank a bigger payout.

It is simple to start — you drag one thing — and it stops being simple around the point where the waves come from two directions. Runs are short, the difficulty is honest, and the reason to play again is usually a specific wave you now know how to meet.
