Description

Moto Race City has no lap counter and no finish line. You ride through working city traffic, and every second spent upright and intact is money in your pocket.

Threading the traffic is the whole of the riding. Cars and trucks fill the lanes ahead, and gaps open and close as they drift between them, so the useful skill is committing to a line while the gap is still forming rather than once it is in front of you. Passing close pays more, which is exactly why most runs end there.

Speed and safety pull against each other constantly. Riding faster raises what each second is worth, and it also shortens the time you have to read the next gap — so a cautious run banks steadily and a greedy one either pays out or stops abruptly.

Earnings buy bikes, and every faster machine shaves down the margin the same street offers. Later maps add denser traffic and tighter lanes, so the machine that felt manageable on one map has to be re-learned on the next.
