Description

Stickman Battle is not one game but a stack of short ones. A round might be a duel with spinning weapons, a football match, a long race or a survival stage, and the next one will be something else entirely.

The controls change with the mode, and the game shows you what they are before each round starts. That is the whole design: nobody gets to specialise, and the person who dominated the last three rounds has to learn a new scheme along with everybody else.

You can play a quick round that lasts a couple of minutes or a tournament that runs several rounds and totals the results. The tournament is where it works best, because a bad mode stops being a loss and becomes something to recover from in the next one.

Up to four people share the keyboard, and bots fill any seats you do not have people for. Cars, faces and colours can be changed so the four stickmen on screen stay tellable apart, which matters more than it sounds once everyone is crowded around the same board.
