Tower Smash: Can Blaster

Tower Smash: Can Blaster opens on a carnival beach, complete with a ticket booth, candy-floss cart and bunting, before dropping you into a wide green park with a castle, a ferris wheel and a roller coaster on the skyline.

In the middle of that park stands a small table with red-and-blue striped tin cans stacked on it. At the bottom of the screen sits a blue and gold cannon, pointing straight at them.

Ammunition is counted on a little cushion in the corner, starting at twenty. One shot punched the middle column clean out of a nine-can stack and left six standing around the gap, which is the whole game: where you hit matters more than how often.

Two power buttons wait in the opposite corner, one priced at two hundred and fifty coins and one marked with an infinity sign. Before any of that, the game insists on a profile, asking for your name and age and offering eight animal avatars.
