Neon Gravity gives you a single button and takes away the ground. Pressing it flips which surface you are running along, so the whole game is a run of decisions about whether the floor or the ceiling is the safer place to be for the next half second.

The obstacles are laid out to punish holding a preference. Spikes on the floor push you up, saws on the ceiling push you back down, and the mines between them mean neither surface stays safe for long. Surviving looks like alternating, and alternating well looks like reading the pattern rather than reacting to it.

Rotating gears are where the game asks for more than survival. Passing cleanly between them triggers a Perfect bonus worth far more than simply getting through, so there is a constant pull between the safe route and the scoring one — and the score is also what makes everything faster.

That speed-up is the real opponent. The layout that felt readable at the start becomes the same layout arriving twice as fast, and a run ends when your reading finally falls behind. Ten skins unlock along the way, and one button covers all of it.
