Description

Idle Trade Routes hands you a merchant fleet and an ocean full of islands that are not connected yet. The ships sail themselves; what does not run itself is deciding where they should go.

A good route is not the shortest one. A nearby island may not want what you are carrying, while the right distant one can cover the cost of the journey several times over.

The fleet grows through new vessels and hired captains, and every addition needs a route worth its while. Adding ships without opening lanes only crowds the same port.

Larger contracts unlock as profits accumulate, and all of it keeps running while you are gone. What waits for you on return is a decision rather than a chore.
