My Tiny Market makes you the owner and, at the start, the only employee. Three jobs run at once — stocking shelves, serving customers, and growing the business — and there is only one of you.

The supply chain is yours from the beginning. Tomatoes get picked, chickens get fed for eggs, and the results end up on your own shelves. That makes an empty shelf a longer problem than it looks: restocking means going back to where the goods actually come from.

Meanwhile the queue at the register grows. Customers who wait too long leave without buying, so the real skill is choosing what to neglect — a half-empty shelf costs less than an abandoned checkout, right up until it does not.

Hiring is the way out of that squeeze. Staff take over restocking, checkout or gathering, which frees you for the decisions that grow the shop: more product lines, extra registers, more floor space. Each expansion brings more customers, which puts you back under pressure at a larger scale.
