Description

Survival Racing keeps the finish line and adds everything that wants to stop you reaching it. Obstacles, traps and rivals who are not being careful, all on a road that was clearly not built for cars.

That makes the fastest line the wrong line most of the time. A racing line assumes the track stays where it is, and here it does not. Reading the road two seconds ahead matters more than corner speed, and the driver who lifts off early usually arrives first.

Rivals are an obstacle rather than an opponent. Contact happens, and a hit taken at the wrong moment costs far more than the position it loses. Overtaking is safest where the road is boring, which is not where anyone wants to do it.

Camera options and a handbrake are both there and both matter more than they usually do. The default view hides what is coming; switching it is the first thing an experienced player does.
