Description

Crazy Dog Racing Fever puts you on the track rather than in the stands. Six greyhounds, numbered vests, a starting box and a single key that decides how hard yours runs.

Because the only input is speed, the game becomes about managing it. Holding the key down works for a while and then stops working, and a dog pushed too hard early is a dog being passed on the final bend by something that was behind it the whole way.

The track is short enough that positioning matters within seconds. There is no steering to save a bad start, so the opening stretch is where most races are decided — and knowing that changes how you spend the first press.

Heats build towards a championship, which gives a run somewhere to go. It is a simple thing done cleanly, and one key is the entire control scheme.
