Description

Cool SuperCars Stunts drops a fast car into a city built out of ramps, loops and long drops. There is no lap counter telling you where to go — the map is the whole point, and working out which run of ramps actually connects is most of the early game.

Three modes give the same city different jobs. One asks you to hunt for the biggest air you can find, another puts a route in front of you, and the two-player mode turns the map into a contest. Learning the layout in one mode carries directly into the others.

The two-player mode shares a single keyboard, which is its best feature and its most awkward one. Both drivers sit shoulder to shoulder, one on W, A, S, D and the other on the arrow keys, and you can see exactly what your opponent is about to attempt. Bluffing a run and taking a different ramp works surprisingly well.

Cars can be customised and upgraded, and this changes stunts more than it changes speed. A car with more grip lands cleanly off a ramp that used to spin you out, while a lighter, faster one gets more air and less control over where it comes down. Neither is strictly better, so pick to suit the trick you are chasing.
