Description

Offroad Crash Climber 4X4 is a physics game wearing a driving game’s clothes. There is a 4x4 and there is a hill, and everything that happens between them comes down to weight moving around.

Two keys tilt the vehicle and two control the throttle, and those four fight each other constantly. Full power up a slope lifts the nose and puts you on your roof; easing off loses the momentum that was carrying you. Most of the game is finding the amount of throttle a particular slope will accept.

Coins pay for the parts that change that argument. A better engine gives you power you then have to restrain, better suspension forgives a landing, more fuel simply lets a run go further — and abilities like Low Gear and 4x4 open terrain that was previously not worth attempting.

Endless Mode measures how far you get while the Crash Levels set specific problems to solve, so the same driving serves two different appetites. It runs on four keys.
