Description

The truck is the slow part and the fire is the urgent part. Level Mode gives you ten calls to answer, each one a drive to a burning building followed by the work of putting it out before the clock runs down.

City Mode removes the queue. Emergencies appear around the streets and you decide which to take, so the route between two calls becomes a decision rather than a loading screen. Taking the nearer one first is usually right, though not always.

Free Mode has no fires at all, which sounds pointless until you have missed a call because the truck understeered at a junction. It exists so that the vehicle stops being the obstacle, and Parking Mode does the same job with tighter margins.

A fire engine handles nothing like a car, and the game is honest about that. Braking distance, turning circle and the width of a city street are the real content here, with the fire supplying the reason to care.
