Description

Super Hero Driving School collects a set of vehicles that refuse to settle on a category. Something in the garage drives, something else flies, and a third thing does both badly, which is the point rather than a flaw.

Every machine handles differently enough that a track has to be approached fresh. A ramp that a car takes at speed is the wrong ramp for something with wings, and a route built for flying is often impassable on wheels, so the track and the vehicle have to be read together.

Stunts are the scoring, and crashes are the comedy. The game is entirely comfortable with you failing spectacularly, and because nothing punishes a wreck beyond restarting, the natural way to play is to attempt the thing that probably will not work.

The controls stay on the mouse throughout, which keeps the whole thing approachable. That simplicity is what lets the vehicles be as strange as they are, since none of them ask you to learn a new set of keys.
