Description

Cars with Guns: Wasteland Showdown runs on two things happening at once. You are driving a vehicle over ground that was never meant for it, and you are shooting at the things that want it — and neither pauses while you deal with the other.

The driving is the hill-climb kind, where momentum and the angle of your wheels matter far more than top speed. Too much throttle over a crest flips you; too little and whatever is behind catches up. Braking is a real decision rather than a safety net.

Shooting is split between an aimed shot you click onto a target and an auto-aim you trigger with a key. The aimed shot hits harder and takes your attention off the road; the automatic one lets you keep driving and hits softer. Choosing between them, over and over, is the game.

Contracts pay in money, reputation and loot, and all three feed straight back into a faster ride and a heavier gun — the loop the setting promises and actually delivers.
