Description

Zombies Shooter Part 2 moves the outbreak to a new city and spends its effort on what is walking around in it. The zombies are not one thing repeated — they are several kinds of problem wearing the same skin.

Mutated firefighters spit flame, which makes distance the answer. Huge mutants throw stones, which makes cover the answer. Zombies in football pads move fast enough that neither works, and they are usually arriving while you are dealing with something else.

The arsenal is large and switching is quick, which the design assumes rather than rewards — the weapon on your hands when a mutant rounds a corner matters more than the one you would have preferred. Number keys and the mouse wheel both exist for that reason.

One detail sets its tone: a zombie shot in the legs does not stop, it crawls. Aiming high costs ammunition and aiming low creates a slower problem that is still coming towards you.
