Description

Zombie Easter Bunnies puts you in a deserted village that is not as empty as it looks. You are there for the coloured eggs, the rabbits guarding them have turned, and a laser gun is the only thing standing between the two facts.

The bunnies are silent, which is the detail that shapes how you play. There is no growl to warn you, so hearing gives you nothing and looking behind you regularly gives you everything. Players who move through the village in a straight line tend not to finish it.

Ammunition lies scattered around the map rather than arriving when you need it. That turns every fight into a small decision about whether it is worth the shots, since clearing a corner you did not have to enter can leave you empty in front of one you cannot avoid.

You can also simply run. Escaping with fewer eggs is a legitimate ending, and knowing when a room is not worth the trouble is as much a part of surviving here as aiming is. The village is small enough to learn, which makes each attempt noticeably better than the last.
