Description

Stick Soccer 3D is soccer without the running. Play alternates in turns, and on yours you pick one player, aim, and release — the ball does the rest while everybody else stands still.

That turns matches into something closer to pool than to soccer. Distance and angle can be measured before you commit, so a bad shot is a misjudgment rather than a slip, and the good players are the ones thinking a turn ahead about where the ball leaves their opponent.

Power is the part that catches people out. Too much and the ball runs past its target into open space; too little and you have handed possession over for nothing. Passing short and often generally beats one hopeful strike at goal.

Teams and stadiums vary, and the modes change the pressure rather than the rules — a tournament to be won across several rounds, a speed challenge that takes the thinking time away, and two-player matches on the same screen.
