Description

Slinky Color Sort is a sorting puzzle made of colored rings. Rings go from the top of one stack to another, and the level is complete when every stack holds a single color.

Two rules do all the work: a ring only lands on its own color or on empty space, and only the top ring of a stack can be moved. That means the color you want is usually buried, and getting to it costs you the free space you were saving.

Levels are lost to that arithmetic rather than to complexity. Four sensible-looking moves can fill every empty slot and leave nothing legal to do, so the habit that saves levels is nominating one stack to complete and bending every move toward freeing it.

More colors and taller stacks arrive as you progress, which lengthens the sequence without changing how you think about it. Nothing is timed, and the rings move by tap and drag on either a phone or a computer.
